Session 1 | 26th of September 2022 | 100 students (≃652)
- Introduced Graphic Design and the categories of design and introduced the photoshop application.
Session 2 | 03rd of October 2022 | 50 students (≃367)
- Explained color theory and taught how to make virtually any kind of selection in photoshop
Session 3 | 17th of October 2022 | 49 students (≃214)
- The concept and principles of typography were introduced and text editing in photoshop was explained along with using miscellaneous tools and panels.
Session 4 |31st of October 2022 | 47 students (≃145)
- The concept and capabilities of artificial intelligence was explained, along with methods to utilize artificial intelligence effectively in the design process.
Session 5 | 14th of November 2022 | 48 students (≃0)
- A tutorial on photo manipulation with photoshop including selections, composition, color correction, lighting and exporting was presented.

All the communication with the students was done through a WhatsApp groups with about 200 students combined.
After the sessions, the students were encouraged to upload their new creations to ShowCase*.
The Posters were designed by Ravindu Liyanage and the Videos were edited by Barana Karunamuni, Ashan Induwara, Dinuka Krishan, Methuka Artigala and Sashane Fernando.
The recording camera and audio equipment were provided and handled by Pasanjith Thanthiriwattege.
